Q Adductor

MILON Q EQUIPMENT DETAILS

A stable gait or defined thighs – the Q Adductor helps people achieve their personal goals easily and safely.

Training adductors is especially popular with women. They want firm, defined thighs, and isolated training of the inner thigh on an adductor machine is particularly suitable for this.

With the electronically controlled Q Adductor, the inside of the thighs can be trained effectively. Thanks to an EMG-optimised training position, the high-quality machine ensures greater muscle activation and successful training. The training resistance is automatically adjusted to the user’s strength at the beginning of the exercise. The Q Adductor is thus suitable for beginners as well as for experienced users who want new training stimuli.

Highlights of the Q Adductor
  • EMG-optimised training position for up to 34% greater muscle activation*
  • Pleasant training for people of all heights thanks to foot rests
  • Ergonomic backrest adapts to the natural back shape
  • Comfortable performance of the exercise due to 5° seat inclination and rounded padding
  • Optimum seat height of 54 cm, also for older people and users with hip conditions*
  • Display in an ergonomically central position in user’s field of vision

RELEVANCE OF THE TARGET MUSCULATURE

The group of femoral adductors (adductor longus, adductor brevis, adductor magnus, adductor minimus, as well as the pectineus and gracilis) is involved when legs are moved from an open to a closed position. It also helps with many everyday movements, such as running or walking.

DOING THE EXERCISE

Starting position

The user sits with buttocks and back firmly against the padding, feet are positioned on the footrests, the legs are spread as far apart as possible. The hands grasp the handles.

Endposition

The user closes their legs slowly and in a controlled manner until they are completely closed. The hands remain on the handles, the back is in contact with the backrest throughout the whole movement.

INTEGRATED TRAINING TYPES

Normal training

The concentric (muscle shortening) and eccentric (muscle lengthening) loads are identical. In other words, training is performed with constant weights in both directions.

Adaptive training

Equipment as a training partner. No matter whether your power increases or decreases. The training weight adjusts to the force you exert automatically and in real time. If the muscles become tired, the equipment reduces the resistance; if they become stronger, they are given a higher resistance – completely automatically.

Isokinetic training

Resistance is varied in every phase of motion at a uniform speed. This ensures that full strength is applied throughout the entire rep. All motion segments are performed with an equal amount of power. This reduces the warm-up time and prevents muscle soreness. Ideal for therapy and competitive sports.

Eccentric training

The training resistance is increased in the eccentric (muscle lengthening) phase of movement, making training more effective in comparison to training with a constant weight by utilizing the muscles, tendons, and ligaments in an ideal way. This enhances muscle strengthening by up to 30% in half the training time.
