Q Butterfly Reverse

An upright posture, a stronger back or the coveted look of the V shape in your upper body – the Q Butterfly Reverse helps people achieve their personal goals easily and safely.

Those who spend a lot of time working at a desk tend to have a round back and drooping shoulders. Through targeted strength training of the back muscles, those affected can counteract this development or prevent it at an early stage. The reverse butterfly exercise is suitable for supporting a straight posture.

The electronically controlled Q Butterfly Reverse is a state-of-the-art back machine for beginners and experienced users. An optimised training position ensures greater muscle activation and thus pleasant training with fast results. The training resistance is automatically adjusted to the user’s strength at the beginning of the training. Beginners can thus build up muscles with this butterfly machine and advanced users can add new training stimuli.

Highlights of the Q Butterfly Reverse

The Q Butterfly Reverse specifically trains the upper back muscles with the posterior part of the deltoid muscle. It is responsible for raising the arms and bringing them backwards and stabilises the shoulders. If you spend a lot of time sitting at your desk, you should particularly train this muscle to prevent a hunched posture and shortening in the chest area.

Doing the exercise

Starting position

The user sits upright with back against the padding, feet are positioned on the footrests. Hands grasp the handles in front of the body, the elbow is slightly bent. Blue markings on the handles indicate the correct starting position.

End position

The user moves their arms in a slow and controlled manner as far out as possible. The back remains against the pad throughout the exercise.

Normal training

The concentric (muscle shortening) and eccentric (muscle lengthening) loads are identical. In other words, training is performed with constant weights in both directions.

Adaptive training

Equipment as a training partner. No matter whether your power increases or decreases. The training weight adjusts to the force you exert automatically and in real time. If the muscles become tired, the equipment reduces the resistance; if they become stronger, they are given a higher resistance – completely automatically.

Isokinetic training

Resistance is varied in every phase of motion at a uniform speed. This ensures that full strength is applied throughout the entire rep. All motion segments are performed with an equal amount of power. This reduces the warm-up time and prevents muscle soreness. Ideal for therapy and competitive sports.

Eccentric training

The training resistance is increased in the eccentric (muscle lengthening) phase of movement, making training more effective in comparison to training with a constant weight by utilizing the muscles, tendons, and ligaments in an ideal way. This enhances muscle strengthening by up to 30% in half the training time.
